Corruption has always been a topic in most African countries and the problem is how to uproot it completely.
Education and awareness creating which many thought could be a cure or an antidote to corruption seems to have failed us as the “Future Leaders” in one way or the other finds themselves in the webs of corruption. Student politics in many tertiary institutions in Ghana are rumored to be where most politicians are in a way “nurtured” to be corrupt.
The Students Representative Council of various tertiary institutions such as University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) and Ghana Institute of Journalism have been hit with various ostensible corruption cases in 2020.
When many thought all is over, it seems the issues at the Ghana Institute of Journalism is an unquenched fire which escalates every passing week.
This week starts with a write-up from an alleged pseudo account pouring out his or her heart out on the alleged corrupt activities in the Students Representative Council of Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Take a look
GIJ climaxes corruption amid illegal, fraudulent, staged vetting.
My attention has been drawn to a purported vetting and selection of SRC leaders to lead students in the next academic year.
Students are informed that this supposed vetting and selection of SRC leaders is illegal in the first place.
The plan of selection , after a staged vetting being headed by corrupt Earl, an SRC aspirant for 2021 and a close ally of SIR JOE already has a list of people who are going to be chosen to cover up the Rot and corruption of Sir Joe, who is currently running an Uber business with students money.
I have conducted an intensive research prior to the announcement of the vetting date, and has closely monitored series of meetings between Sir Joe, Earl (Chairman of vetting committee) and already chosen aspirants whose names will be mentioned soon.
The purpose of the meetings among other things are to:
1. Select loyalists who will enforce the list that will be presented to them to pass during vetting
2. Ensure loyalty to Sir Joe and cover up his financial frauds and loss caused to the SRC
While students remain quiet , with majority struggling to come out of the impacts of COVID 19, Sir Joe, who is now a past student is still meddling in the affairs of students and trying his possible best to cover his crimes against students in order to safe guard his investments which he has made with students money for himself.
As I have already informed you , a list of aspirants has already been compiled by the so called vetting panel which is illegal , and all aspirants who will be turning up for the staged vetting are only wasting their time, energy and resources as their fates have already been decided before hand.
The following are the people who have already been elected ahead of the fraudulent, illegal and staged vetting to take place (which must not be allowed to happen).
1. Alimatu Bartels as S.R.C President
2.Edith Gyekye as External Affairs
3. Esther Dorman as Women Commissioner
4. Derrick Ofosu as Organizing Secretary
5. Ishmael Awudi as Financial Secretary (He’s unopposed)
If students continue to remain quiet over all these illegality, day light robbery and fraud, The GIJ will continue to crawl behind other institutions.
This fraudulent process being led by the deputy speaker of parliament and a past student in the name of SIR Joe is perhaps the biggest scam of 2020.
Students must rise up and kick against this thievery, fraud, scam and illegality. Many schools have successfully held elections, with Accra Technical University successfully holding their elections just a few weeks ago.
GIJ Students and other right thinking aspirants must not let this fraud happen.
Stay tuned for more!! (Earl Aggrey Undressed and unmasked)
Enough is enough!!

This has raised a lot of unanswered questions from the student body and other S.R.C aspirants on various social-media platforms. With the academic year suspended, why are some “Future Leaders” in a haste to get the grounds cemented for various reason best known to they and their comrades?
