Mayorca Beach Flex, a great place for relaxation and events where one can have a great view and feel the cool breeze of the Gulf of Guinea. Mayorca Beach Flex is located at Sakumono Beach between Nungua Maritime University and the new Tema Port.
The name MAYORCA originated from Spain where the proprietress cum owner has been spending some leisure time and to acclimatize. The FLEX was chosen by Mr. Andy Lloyd, a movie actor friend of the owner who thought Flex was a better word to use than a resort.
The Owner and Proprietress is Nana Akosua Afrifa Bempong who was born in Suame, Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Nana lived in Achimota, Accra until age 13 when she got to know, her biological mother was resident in Germany. Nana then relocated to Germany to continue with her schooling.
After school, Nana Akosua Afrifa Bempong started working at her own restaurant she established in Berlin through the support of her mother. Though there were other kind of businesses she thought of setting up, the hospitality industry had always been her main strength. She also learned to cook different cuisine from her fiancé Benjamin Bentil who was then a chef in a five star hotel in Berlin.
In 2005, Nana Akosua moved to United Kingdom to be met with many opportunities but she decided to open her own business made up of a salon, a restaurant and an event center. This center was well managed till she made up her mind to settle back in her country Ghana in 2013.
Having lived outside Ghana for a long time, Nana arrived in the country with so many plans in mind. As an entrepreneur, a visit to the beach side of Sakumono and to see a dumping site just gave her the idea for MAYORCA BEACH FLEX to be born.
MAYORCA BEACH FLEX is on a two acre land that has a spacious place for wedding receptions, outdooring’s, funerals and all kind of out door parties. There is a children play ground with a special swimming pool.
There are all kinds of African, especially Ghanaian dishes and beach rooms for those who want to sleep by the sea. The car park can accommodate about 100 cars on a busy day and night. Business as usual starts from 8am till late in the night.
