Ghanaian midfielder, Saaka Faisal, made his Al Ettifaq dream debut in a 1-0 win against the Sitra club in the Round-32 stage of the Bahrain Kings Cup.
Al Ettifaq has progressed to the Round-16 stage of the Bahrain Kings Cup.
Saaka, 18, came off the bench on the 70th minute as a replacement for Neonu.
The talented young midfield sensation was impressive as he came on. He stabilized the midfield of Al Ettifaq with great efforts.
His effort nearly paid off as Sitra Club goalkeeper made a great save to deny the youngster from scoring on his debut whose shot on target nearly got the second goal for Al Ettifaq.
The head coach and teammates were full of praise for the teenager despite being on the field for just 20 minutes.
Saaka Faisal joined the Bahraini side on a season-long deal from Tema City FC with the option to extend to a long term after a successful one-month trial with the club.
